Neil is the President and sole shareholder of the law offices of Neil F. Lewis, P.A., which he founded in 1997.  Neil has practiced immigration law exclusively his entire career.  He has represented over 2,500 clients since he opened his own firm and his extensive experience has made him one of the preeminent immigration law authorities in Florida.  He is a member of the Florida Bar, the United States Middle District of Florida, and the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals.

Neil has been a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) since 1996 and has served as a Board Member and Officer of the local AILA chapter.  He has also spoken at and served as a moderator at nationwide AILA conferences.  The Hillsborough County Public Defenders and other local bar associations have invited Neil to speak about and discuss complex deportation issues because of his expertise in these matters.  He is regularly featured in the Tampa Bay Times and on Spanish language radio stations with regard to immigration law topics.  Neil has shared his knowledge and experience by conducting Continuing Legal Education (CLE) seminars and offering his support and guidance to many attorneys who seek to venture into immigration law.

Prior to being admitted to the Florida Bar in 1996, Neil graduated from the School of Law at the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia.  He was elected by his law school peers to be the President of the Student Bar Association and he was awarded the Dean’s Certificate for his service and contributions to the law school.  He is also a member of MENSA due to his high IQ.  Before law school, Neil received his undergraduate degree in journalism from the University of South Carolina, where he enrolled after he was honorably discharged from the United States Marine Corps after serving from 1983 to 1987.  Neil served in the Philippines and Okinawa during his time in the Marines.

Neil strongly believes in providing his clients with honest and efficient representation.  He provides his services and expertise when it is needed, never when it is unnecessary.  Neil approaches each case with the goal of providing each client with exactly what he or she wants.  Neil’s experience, knowledge, and expertise enable him to do so.  This is demonstrated by his 10.0 out of 10.0 “Superb” rating by clients on the independent AVVO.com attorney rating website.  He feels an obligation to “do right” by each of his clients and looks forward to helping you with your immigration matter.

Elizabeth joined Neil F. Lewis, P.A. in June of 2016 as an Associate Attorney practicing Immigration Law. She is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), and her practice focuses primarily on family related immigration matters.

Since being admitted to the Florida Bar in 2015, Elizabeth has realized her true passion for the practice of immigration law. At Neil F. Lewis, P.A., Elizabeth handles a variety of immigration cases involving adjustment of status, deferred action, naturalization, and many others. She can communicate with clients in both Spanish and English. Prior to joining Neil F. Lewis, PA., Elizabeth practiced both Elder Law and Legal and Regulatory Compliance in Tampa, Florida. She has experience in contested and uncontested guardianships, guardian advocacy, estate planning, and probate administration. Additionally, she has experience with creating a comprehensive compliance infrastructure in a law firm setting.

Elizabeth is a graduate of the University of Denver, Sturm College of Law, where she earned a Certificate in Corporate and Commercial Law. She completed three different externships during her time in law school, two in-house international corporation positions and one boutique business law firm position. She was an officer in the Spanish Speaking Lawyers Association and active volunteer in the Spanish Speaking Community in Denver, Colorado.

During law school, Elizabeth spent time in Antigua, Guatemala, and Madrid, Spain, studying international law and furthering her Spanish language skills. Prior to attending law school, Elizabeth graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Madison, where she majored in Spanish Literature and International Studies.

Elizabeth believes in providing exceptional client service with the utmost professionalism. It is with a sense of pride in helping others that Elizabeth serves the firm’s immigration clients.

Viviana emigrated from Colombia to the United States with her parents when she was 11 years old.  After graduating from Barron Collier High School in Naples, Florida, Viviana made the decision to move away from her parents and enrolled at the University of South Florida in Tampa.  Although her parents offered to support her, Viviana was a full-time student and worked full time jobs to put herself through college.  She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communications /Advertising with minors in Sociology and Communications.  Viviana accepted a position with at the Seminole Hard Rock Casino in the Hotel Operations Department.

Viviana became acquainted with immigration law while helping out with her older brother’s immigration case.  That experience inspired her to pursue a career in immigration law and she began working as Mr. Lewis’s legal assistant in 2010.  She is an instrumental part of the law offices of Neil F. Lewis, P.A. and is involved in most aspects of every case.  Viviana is currently in the process of becoming an attorney and hopes to practice immigration law in the near future.

From her own experience with the immigration and naturalization process, Viviana is able to efficiently and empathetically help clients with their concerns and questions, both in Spanish and English.  She finds satisfaction in helping clients achieve the American dream.
